Became Disappointed by TSEL for The First Time!

Never ever before i became disappointed by TSEL, as this operator in my experience, known to be honest and reliable. Why honest? It because we can check our last usage by pressing *887# code, free 2 seconds charge (a general rule that protects a caller when he/she intends to cancel the call while the recipient suddenly accepts it). Why reliable? Its wide network everywhere.
But, it became different last night when i called TSEL CARE around 22:04. The CSO man so ridicolous and made me upset. The problem began when i called to USA by dialing 01017xxx around 20:17. I used 01017 prefix code, as i know it’s the TLKMGroup VOIP prefix code for cheap international call, just IDR 1000/minute. The quality of the voice is so bad, like interrupted beep, VOIP character. Because bad quality of voice i couldn’t finish my instruction over. Became more surprised when checked *887#, i got charged IDR 36250 for 7 minutes and 6 seconds call or IDR 5000/minute, 5 times than what it should be.

That’s why then i contacted TSEL CARE, just to ask how much the tariff is. The CSO said that 01017 can only be called using Simpati, so there’s no tariff for Kartu As (as my GSM card). So Kartu As user only can access direct prefix such as 007. Heared such an explanation, i repeat my question about how much the tariff for Kartu As call using 01017 is? The CSO man kept insisted that there’s no such a tariff. It was ridicolous then as i proved could call using it, and if Kartu As can’t call such a prefix the call must have been dropped then, but it’s not. TSEL should be able to check my record just to know the truth. Still he answer normatively, may be he just knew what’s on screen. At last i asked him just to write the complain to be handled by the technical officer. But he answered that he couldn’t make such a note because there’s no criteria for it. Now i became upset: rejected noted the complain, what kind of CSO was that. May be not all TSEL CSOs, can’t make a conclusion because not try another call to TSEL CARE, not mood.

The first step for a good service company is to hear the customer complain and writed/noted it. Next job is technician or back office task to verify and give a good and clear explanation, a necessary action in addition, for the customer’s complain. This time TSEL CSO was so bad, TSEL should make attention to its front liner, as i keep my trust on TSEL, except it becomes systemic to all TSEL CSO. I just need clarification bout the tariff, whether my 01017xxx call correctly charged? Badly i got no information at all. I surfed TSEL site also, but still couldn’t find the info.

As i needed to finish my instruction, i called using another operator GSM VOIP, it did have cheap rate, and surprisingly very clear voice, no interupted beep. So the jargon VOIP voice is bad, not relevance in this case. So TSEL, where’s your top quality network and service? I still count on at this moment. But the future, let’s c.

eXtra Large: Another Sex Comedy Genre, Clean!

ExtralargeAgain, after the controversy ‘Maaf Saya Menghamili Istri Anda’, Monti Tiwa, directed new sex comedy movie ‘XL: Extra Large (Kamu, Aku dan Mak Erot). For this time, MT can be awarded Good as not to bring unnecessary scene such as hard sex scene, but just bring slapstick and wordy scene instead.

The story is about three men that are best friends. One of them has to get married with a woman that already pregnant. It comes to be a problem to know that the woman is a sex maniac. The man become not confidence of his ’size’. His friends help him by giving such a training scheme, by take him to Mak Erot and get a hore stay with him in a month. What happen then, he nearly not practise at all, gets into complicated situation, and falls in love with the girl.

For sex comedy, quite clean. The audience were so entertained, laughted along the movie. So flowed, no incontinuity. Overall rate it, 4 out of 5.

Jakarta Undercover, Ups Jakarta Underwater!

‘Musim hujan telah tiba, bapak-bapak, ibu-ibu siap-siap, 10, 9, 8, …’ itulah kira-kira cuplikan iklan salah satu produk rokok dua tiga tahun lalu, lumayan segar menyitir kondisi banjir yang kerap datang di musim hujan, tapi tidak ada upaya sistematis untuk menanggulanginya, selain meminta masyarakat untuk bersiap-siap menghadapi banjir.

Jangan melulu salahkan alam, ketika hujan tiba, bila tidak ada perubahan perilaku gemar membuang sampah di sungai, atau kemauan menata ruang dengan tidak mengorbankan ruang serapan air untuk julangan bangunan komersial, atau kesungguhan pembangunan infrastruktur penampung pengendali atau kanal pengalir banjir.

Itu semua sudah cukup kita ketahui, cukup besar untuk jadi bagian solusi banjir, disamping sebab dan solusi lain yang bisa diajukan. Tapi tidak akan pernah cukup bila hanya menjadi wacana berulang — seperti sitiran iklan di atas — yang tak kunjung terealisasi.

Soal kesadaran masyarakat, ramaikanlah public campaign ‘anti buang sampah ke sungai’, tapi jangan lupa sediakan tempat pembuangannya. Tentang tata ruang, potret dan atur ulang, plus konsisten sebagai kata kunci. Terakhir, soal infrastruktur, butuh dana besar memang, tapi layak jadi prioritas. Kerugian mandeknya ekonomi atau lumpuhnya akses bandara plus bandaranya, sudah termasuk strategis untuk tidak dibiarkan.

Jakarta underwater should not be acted as Jakarta undercover, it’s so real that everyone sees.

Ketika Cinta Bertasbih: Terjebak Dalam Sajian Dakwah Eksplisit

KetikacintabertasbihSetelah Ayat-ayat Cinta yang menjadi novel religi fenomenal, Habiburrahman El Shirazy atau akrab dikenal Kang Abik, hadir dengan karya lainnya, Ketika Cinta Bertasbih (Dwilogi Pembangun Jiwa), terbit pertama kali pada Februari 2007.

Nuansa religi masih menjadi ruh dari novelnya kali ini. Namun berbeda dangan Ayat-ayat Cinta yg berhasil memasukkan nilai-nilai dakwah secara implisit, sehingga novel tidak kehilangan identitasnya sebagai novel. Dalam Ketika Cinta Bertasbih, pengarang seperti terjebak dalam sajian dakwah, terlalu eksplisit dalam menyampaikan maksud dakwah, sehingga novel ini seolah menjadi kehilangan identitasnya sebagai novel. Untungnya hal ini tidak terjadi berkelanjutan, karena pada bagian tengah ke akhir menjadi nyaman kembali untuk diikuti, novel yang sesungguhnya.

Cerita novel ini menampilkan sosok sentral seorang lelaki yang sedang mengambil studi S1 di Kairo, tidak kunjung menyelesaikan studinya hingga tahun ke-9, karena keadaan yang memaksanya berwirausaha dan tidak dapat berkonsentrasi penuh pada studinya. Meskipun mempunyai tokoh sentral, cerita dalam novel ini menampilkan beberapa tokoh, agak tidak terfokus dan membuat alur cerita seperti melompat-lompat. Beberapa konflik cinta, perasaan yang hadir antara beberapa pihak menjadi bumbu yang menarik, karena coba disajikan bagaimana sudut pandang Islam menghadapi masalah-masalah yang hadir. Akhir cerita sang tokoh sentral berhasil menyelesaikan studinya, keputusan yang diambil setelah ia tahu bahwa beban yang ia pikul demi keluarganya di Indonesia telah dapat ia lepaskan. Cerita masih berlanjut ke jilid dua, sesuai sub judul novel sebagai dwilogi, penyelesaian pencarian pendamping hidup sang tokoh.

Ada satu pesan menarik yang disampaikan dalam novel ini, mengenai cinta yang hakiki, bahwasanya cinta tertinggi itu adalah cinta pada Sang Pencipta, yang seharusnya membuat manusia tersadar untuk tidak terjajah oleh cinta yang lainnya.
