After look @ the commercial show @ tv bout Nidji’s breakthru’ album in English version, intended to go international, i wonder how good the album compare to Bahasa Indonesia version. So i go to Disctarra to have it. In Bahasa Indonesia version, actually there’re already some songs written in English, but in this English version, all the Bahasa Indonesia song converted into English. But unfortunately, Nidji can’t English, but it doesn’t mean they can’t sing English or make English translation. The melody of the song is quite the same with little modification, but Nidji make the lyrics different from the Bahasa Indonesia version. In translating the words, the general rule, it doesn’t have to be exact letterlock, depend in the meaning, can use another words with the same intention. In this case, Nidji make the lyrics totally different, the consequences is the song will have a different soul, and make the song a little strange as it may not suit the previous feel. For example, song titled "Hard to Feel" talks about keeping the love, but the originally of it "Hapus Aku" oppositely talks about forgetting the love. Need time to get into feel the new English version, will the new theme be suited or not. Not all song have different theme, one of the song titled "Adam and Eve" have the same soul with its originally "Kau dan Aku".
